There are also the carvings on the west front, seen from a distance in Rue Merciere – so many stories there. But thank you for the other pictures, we had only half a day in your city, walked a lot, saw a lot, missed more! A la prochaine.

These are beautiful. I especially love the view from ponts couverts. What time of year was that taken? There’s another fantastic view that I was happy to enjoy a few years ago when I rented an AirBnB located on the top floors of a building on the western edge of the plaza that surrounds the cathedral. I hope to go back some day. A wonderful city. Thanks for reviving some fond memories.

Thank you! The view from Ponts Couverts was taken in the spring, around April/May. That AirBnB sounds amazing! And do come back some day, we’re sure it’ll make for wonderful new experiences 😊

I first met wisteria in Brooklyn, New York of all places, at the botanical garden there. It has been a favorite ever since.

My trip to see Strasbourg was cancelled last year due to covid19, such a pity as your pictures shows the beauty that I missed there. Can’t wait to there even more now

It’s many people’s favorite! It’s beautiful all year, but we kind of wish the wisteria season would last a little longer …

Oh no, that’s too bad! You can still enjoy the city in the rain, but it does indeed make photography more challenging. We hope you can come back to better weather some day!
