15 views of Strasbourg in the spring

Spring is probably the best season to explore Strasbourg. The weather is mild and often sunny, which makes this the perfect time to wander the streets of the old town.

Parks and gardens are suddenly clad in bright colors, a far cry from the wintery hues of February. Blooming magnolias, cherry blossoms and wisteria add a touch of poetic charm.

Terrace cafés and restaurants begin to reopen – the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends for a drink or a nice meal. The banks of the river Ill and the city squares become bustling meeting points with a lively atmosphere.

Springtime is also the season when nature awakens. Swans make their nests by streams and canals, a lovely sight for passers-by once the cygnets hatch. Every green space becomes a theater of nature, where birdsong follows you as you walk along the water.

This is such a nice post with so many beautiful and colourful photos. Wisteria season is a symbol of spring and a sign that summer is approaching, much like when the magnolias or cherry blossoms are in bloom. Thanks for sharing and have a good day. Aiva xx
