We tested The Stork (aka. The Drunky Stork Social Club) in the fall of 2022. This time, we sampled their famous Sunday brunch.
The Stork is located in a former bank, which has now been transformed into a unique and lively space. The bright and modern decor, both retro and industrial, makes it the perfect place to have brunch with your friends or family.
On Sundays and public holidays from 11 AM to 4 PM, this pub/brasserie/bar switches out its usual menu with an indulgent brunch.
The self-serve buffet is set up all around the monumental bar in the center, as well as in the kitchen. Everyone can find something to their liking, no matter their preference or their mood.
There is a wide selection of both sweet and savory foods: fruit juices, danishes and pastries, bread (including gluten-free options), pancakes, jams, chocolate spread, honey, rice pudding, fresh fruit salad, cakes and pies, cookies, cereal, cheeses, charcuterie, cured salmon, miso-marinated beef tataki, falafel, fried sausages and bacon, oysters…
Everything is fresh, delicious, and high quality.
You can also order an unlimited number of hot drinks (coffee, tea from Mariage Frères, hot chocolate) and eggs in different forms (fried, soft-boiled, scrambled or omelet) to your table.
In order to minimize food wastage, The Stork encourages guests to help themselves as often as they like, but in smaller quantities.
The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with the DJ’s eclectic jazzy playlist making for a soft soundtrack to this lovely experience.
We particularly enjoyed:
- The self-serve buffet (food and cold drinks)
- The relaxed atmosphere
- The blueberry cake, miso-marinated beef tataki, and roast chicken
- The attentive staff
We recommend you make your reservations well in advance: here

Looks like a great offering in a very stylish environment. I wondered what you thought of the prices – is it expensive?

We don’t share the prices in the post because they might change with inflation, but in spring 2024 the brunch is at 39 € pp, which isn’t exactly INexpensive, but it’s all you can eat so if you go there hungry you’ll definitely get your money’s worth ^^

I love the decor and variety of foods on display. Brunces are quite popular in Latvia and I just love how you get to enjoy a plethora of food in a relaxed environment. You can also take advantage of its perfect timing to eat twice as much because technically, it’s two meals. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

Thank you Aiva! We totally agree, brunches are quite popular here in France as well. This one was so generous that we didn’t eat anything in the evening either 😉
